Fans in environments above 1000 m above sea level

At higher altitudes, the deterioration in the effectiveness of atmospheric heat radiation requires measures such as lowering the ambient temperature of the product.

Conditions for operating conditions up to 1000 m above sea level and below 2000 m are shown below.

Note that the cooling performance may deteriorate due to a decrease in air density, so please confirm separately the heat generation of the equipment.

Operating conditions for fan motors
If the fan motor is to be used up to 1000 m above sea level and below 2000 m, the operating ambient temperature should be reduced as shown in Fig. 1.
For example, if a product with an upper limit value of 50 °C for operating ambient temperature is used at 2000 m above sea level, the upper ambient temperature value is 42 °C.
